Here’s what to expect at Winterfest Sausalito 2024.
Saturday, December 14, 2024:
- Lighted Boat Parade & Fireworks:Â The event kicks off at the Sausalito Waterfront in Gabrielson Park. Reserved seating opens at 5:00 PM, followed by the Lighted Boat Parade at 6:00 PM. The evening culminates with a spectacular fireworks display at 7:15 PM.
- Captain’s After Party: From 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, enjoy the Captain’s After Party at The Spinnaker. This is a great opportunity to mingle and celebrate with fellow attendees.
Sunday, December 15, 2024:
- Jingle Bell 5K & Brunch:Â Start your day with the Jingle Bell 5K run on Humboldt Ave. Runner registration begins at 7:30 AM, with the race starting at 8:30 AM. A Kids Fun Run will follow at 9:15 AM. After the race, head to The Spinnaker for a delightful brunch starting at 9:00 AM.
Admission and Registration
The Lighted Boat Parade and Fireworks are free to attend, but premium seating is available for purchase. Tickets for premium seating and the Captain’s After Party can be bought through the Winterfest Sausalito website. Boater and runner registrations are also open, ensuring everyone can participate in the fun.
Location and Parking
Gabrielson Park is the prime viewing spot for the parade, but it fills up quickly. Arrive early to secure a good spot or consider alternative viewing areas. For parking, Sausalito offers various options, including five municipal lots downtown. Residents can purchase parking cards for three hours of free parking in lots #1-#4.
